What is Crimson Park?
It’s a high-quality apartment community designed especially with University of Oklahoma students in mind. Crimson Park features a variety of spacious, furnished apartments plus a full set of community features such as a 24-hour fitness center, sports courts, pool and hot tub, clubhouse and more. All just minutes from the OU campus.
Is Crimson Park part of the University of Oklahoma?

Can I live with friends, or can you match me with roommates?
You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.
What are per-person contracts?
Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Crimson Park has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.
What is included in the rate?
Each resident at Crimson Park pays a flat monthly rental installment that includes:
- A full set of furniture
- Wi-Fi and wired Internet
- Water/sewer, trash removal
- Flat panel HDTV in living room
- Washer and dryer in each apartment
- 24-hour on-site management
- Community features – pool, fitness center etc.
What size are the apartments?
The spacious accommodations at Crimson Park range from 1 – 4 bedroom apartments with private bathrooms available. Apartments are as large as 1,360 square feet.
Are the apartments furnished?
Yes, all apartments at Crimson Park include a furniture package including a full-size bed, dresser, desk and chair in each bedroom, and a sofa and lounge chair, end table, coffee table and 42” flat-panel HDTV in each living room. When do the contracts start and end?
The standard term is August 12, 2021 to July 25, 2022, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates may be available; please inquire with our staff.
Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?
After a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to secure their financial obligation in one of three ways: by providing a qualifying guarantor (often a parent); by pre-paying the final 2 installments; or by purchasing a third-party guaranty from our partner, Leap. In limited cases, we may also waive the requirement for a financial guaranty if a resident has sufficient income of their own.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Crimson Park also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.
Will my financial aid cover charges at Crimson Park?
Your living costs at Crimson Park can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Crimson Park. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.
Is Crimson Park open to non-students?
Nearly all the residents at Crimson Park are students at the University of Oklahoma. The per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Nonetheless, Crimson Park is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student roommates, non-students must apply together with enough roommates to fill the desired apartment.
What kind of safety and security are provided?
Crimson Park is a gated community, with monitored fire sprinklers and electronic locks on each front door, plus individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.
What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?
Crimson Park is pet-friendly in select buildings. The community is smoke-free in all indoor areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of apartment-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.
Can I park my vehicle at Crimson Park?
Crimson Park offers free surface parking for all residents. Limited guest parking is also available at no charge.
What other transportation options will I have?
Crimson Park has a private shuttle bus directly to the University of Oklahoma and back when school is in session. Service runs Monday through Friday every 30 minutes from 7:45am to 6pm. It’s just a seven-minute ride to campus. Or bike or drive to the OU campus in minutes.
